Participants start in Fort Assiniboine, have a breakfast and show-up there, then drive along Highway 33 into Barrhead, where their
Big social and riding event. Riders from across the region and province some to Woodlands County/Whitecourt to ride the trails,
Ultra-race event at Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park. Race distances of 100, 50, 27 and 10 km. Youth 5 km race.
Hot chocolate, hot dogs, snowshowing, cross country skiing, skating, ice slides, ice sculptures
Food trucks, bouncy castls, face painting, beer gardens, live entertainment.
Family dance with live music by Métis County and spotlight dance prizes.
2024 entertainers include Scott Helman, Arcana Kings, Madeline Merlo, Jason Kirkness. Food vendors and children’s activities each day.
Race distances of 21km, 10km, 5km, and a kids marathon.
