Holmes Crossing Sandhills Ecological Reserve contains some of the best (and one of the few occurrences of) transverse dunes in Canada. The dunes are stabilized with jack pine-lichen forests. There are also a number of small lakes in the Reserve. Enjoy a landscape of transverse dunes. View small lakes on your hike through the forest trails while geocaching or wildlife viewing.
