Family-owned and operated fabric and quilt shop. See their Class Calendar online. In January 2012, Homestead Fabric and Quilting expanded from the garage to its own building across the driveway. This building allowed us to host quilters for sewdays regularly, bring in even more fabric variety and become handicap accessible.
Shortly after moving into the new building, we introduced paper piecing classes with a Judy Neimeyer certified instructor, Maureen Wood. We are fortunate to still have Maureen come to teach classes every summer.
In 2021 we broke ground to expand our current building. We added 24 feet to make a quilting room, a space with large tables, a cutting table, and custom-built ironing boards for classes and customer use.
Over the years we’ve had multiple amazing staff to help with the day-to-day business. We are very thankful for their dedication to helping us get to where we are today.
Homestead Fabric and Quilting has brought me so many blessings, and I find myself lucky to have found myself on this path, meeting fantastic people and most importantly doing something I love every day.
