Each Saturday (9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May through September) you’ll find a lively local farmers’ market in the Staples parking lot at 4223 52 Ave.
A-track of roughly 600 visitors turns up weekly, so it’s a solid spot to browse, mingle and support local.
What’s on offer: fresh-from-the-region produce (fruit, veggies), fresh flowers, artisan baked goods, meats, handmade crafts and clothing from Alberta makers— all under the market’s “grown/made locally” ethos. There’s also food to eat on the spot and a kids’ play corner, making it more than just a shopping spree—it’s a community outing.
