The Golden Triangle Snowmobile Trails

Overview

600 km of award-winning snowmobile trails for hours of enjoyment. Experience the winter wonderland that connects Swan Hills, Woodlands County and Fox Creek. This Alberta sled trail consists of varied terrain with warm-up shelters located throughout the trail system.

COME check out the award-winning trails that will provide hours of enjoyment and allow you to get out in our winter wonderland.

We recommend riding the Triangle between February 1st and March 30th of the sledding season. PLEASE NOTE: Certain portions may or may not be cleaned or groomed, as well, please beware of daily hazards of trees and debris that have fallen and may impede crossing. We will make every effort to advise you the status of our trail conditions weekly. Thank you for riding the Golden Triangle.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to ride the 350 km Golden Triangle, it is recommended to be of intermediate to advanced skill level with the long rides between communities as well as there are many hills, water bodies and tougher terrain. It takes approximately 10-12 hours to ride the whole Golden Triangle in one day and that is with higher speeds.
